Overheated vehicle on M40
A vehicle overheated on the eastbound carriageway of the M40 at 02.21pm yesterday, Sunday February 16th. The incident occurred between Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and Junction 1a (M25 interchange). Firefighters from Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross attended the scene after reports of the vehicle being on fire. The incident was classified as a good intent false alarm.

Yesterday, Thursday 12th February 2014 at approximately 5.43pm, firefighters from Beaconsfield were called to attend a car fire on the junction of the A355 and A40 at Beaconsfield. The fire turned out to be a good intent false alarm.
