Kidnap incident in Kingsmead Road, High Wycombe

An incident in High Wycombe where a woman was believed to have been kidnapped has resulted in an appeal for witnesses by Thames Valley Police.

On Monday 12th November 2018, between 9.45am and 10.15am, a suspected offender was seen getting out of a car and assaulting a woman in her thirties in Kingsmead Road, High Wycombe.

The offender then pulled the woman into a car, described as a three door dark coloured BMW, which then drove away.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Thomas Digby, of Force CID at High Wycombe police station, said: ‘We are trying to identify the parties involved, who we believe are known to each other, and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen something or has any information which may assist the investigation.

We have not yet been able to trace the victim, so anyone with any knowledge of this incident is encouraged to contact police as soon as possible.

We would also encourage any motorists with dash-cam footage to come forward if they were driving down Kingsmead Road during the times of the offence on Monday morning, as this would be very helpful to our investigation.
