Car catches fire on M40

Firefighters from Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross were called to extuinguish a car that had caught fire on the M40 today around 4.00pm. The vehicle was located on the Northbound carriageway betwen Juntion 3 (Loudwater) and Junction 4 (Handy Cross). Two sets of breating apparatus and one hosereel was required to extinguish the fire.
