Wycombe District Council has stepped in to acquire two long-term vacant properties in the Frogmoor and Church Street areas of Wycombe town centre. Both properties were previoulsy owned by the Arcadia group.
Chimney fire in Marlow
At 12.22pm on Wednesday 12 February 2014 firefighters from High Wycombe fire station were called to a chimney fire at Widmere Lane in Marlow. Chimney gear and a thermal imaging camera was used. The fire required the attendace of one fire appliance with its crew.

Six cars and van in crash on M40
There was a road traffic collision on the eastbound carriageway of the M40 today at approximately 1.42pm involving six cars and a van. The accident took place between Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and Junction 1a (the M25 interchange). Two injured women were released by firefighters. Three fire engines and their crews attended the scene.
